Great job on a challenging addition of a downstairs bedroom to a unique two story log type cabin.
The cedar siding had to be specially milled to match the existing home. It worked out well and the addition looks like it was always there.
Attaching the addition to the cabin had challenges as this cabin was built from a kit over forty years ago and original materials are no longer available. Jason did an excellent job as he analyzes the problem and figures out the best solution.
A former window became the doorway into the room. The inside is finished beautifully with wood paneling and custom windows.
